How is Neeliyam different from other tour companies?
Neeliyam focuses on your satisfaction and happiness. We are intimately familiar with India and will work

to help you meet your travel objectives by planning your trip, and if need be, accompanying you on it.   


What is included in your packages?
We provide you with a detailed itinerary, including 4- or 5-star accommodation, English speaking guides

and drivers, air-conditioned cars, domestic flights and train reservations. We prepare you by walking you

through the details and logistics of the trip before you leave, so your destination will feel familiar when

you get there. If you wish, we will accompany you on your trip.  
 
How does the booking process work?
You can e-mail or call us with your requirements and we will work on your itinerary. When it is finalized, you can complete the registration process.
 
Is there a specific number of passengers required before we can travel with you?
No. We do individual, private group and corporate retreat tours.
 
How far in advance should I book?
To get the best pricing you should book a minimum of 4 months in advance.
 
How can I pay for my booking?
By check or wire transfer.
 
What happens if I need to change or cancel my tour?
Neeliyam will do its utmost to accommodate changes. However, non-refundable expenses incurred must first be paid.

Refund Policy for cancellations:
90% -- within 10 days of registration, less any non-refundable expenses incurred
50% -- until 2 months before the trip commences, less any non-refundable expenses incurred
25% -- until the day of the commencement of the trip, less any non-refundable expenses incurred


Do you offer a discount for children?
Children below 12 years get a 50% discount, unless they require a separate room, in which case they are charged adult prices.
 
What happens if I have an emergency during my stay?
We will provide you contact information for our representatives, recommended doctors and hospitals, at each destination.  
 
Why aren’t international flights included in packages?
We are not set up to book international flights. However, we can recommend good travel agents, if you don’t already have a travel agent to help you book your international flights.
 
Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my trip, either before or during the trip?
Neeliyam will do its utmost to accommodate changes. However, non-refundable expenses incurred must first be paid.
 
Can I add extra nights to my trip, either before or during the trip?
Yes, you may.
 
What is the best time of year to travel?
The best time to travel in India is between September and March.
The monsoons in Kerala are from June to August. This is the best time to get Ayurvedic treatments.

We will help get visas for applicants who live in the Indian Consulate in San Francisco‘s jurisdiction (Alaska, Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming) for a $75 fee.
